Umbrella and parasol exhibition made by textile shops @monova gallery
Last year's umbrella and parasol exhibition by textile shop Makita Shoten was well received.
Using the wonderful word ``Mottainai'' (mottainai) as a keyword, we wanted to create umbrellas that cherish the culture rooted in Japan's natural features, rather than just ``things'' that protect from rain, dew, and sunlight. I'm making things.
Umbrellas that express the textile techniques cultivated since the Edo period in a single umbrella,
A new parasol with refreshing stripes.
"An umbrella that's fun to hold"
"A nice-looking umbrella"
“Umbrellas that you will want to use carefully”
We will develop such an umbrella.
“Umbrella and parasol exhibition made by textile shops”
Period: June 19th (Thursday) - July 1st (Tuesday), 2014
Time: 10:30-19:00 (closed on Wednesdays)
Location: monova gallery
