Yamanashihataori Travel in Shikisaido Hamamatsu Aritama Main Store

At the end of last year, the Japanese household goods store "Shikisaido" helped us with an event at their Shizuoka Nakata store.
This year, we will be holding an event at the Aritama main store in Hamamatsu with our friends from Yamanashi Hataori Travel!

This is a weaving area in Yamanashi Prefecture that straddles Fujiyoshida City and Nishikatsura Town at the foot of Mt. Fuji.
Blessed with Mt. Fuji's spring water, textile culture has been nurtured since the Edo period.
Inheriting that tradition and technology, the town still has the same sound of weaving, with energetic weavers weaving unique fabrics.
We bring to you the proud products created by such Hataoori craftsmen!
