The men's folding umbrella "MAKITA STANDARD" was featured in the economic section of the Yamanashi Nichinichi Shimbun newspaper on November 30, 2021!
This folding umbrella is based on the theme of ``an umbrella that today's men really want'' and has been carefully crafted from the weave to the handle.
For the fabric, we focused on the ``herringbone'' weave, which is often used in suit fabrics, in order to convey the texture while being simple. After making many prototypes, we have created a fabric that has a thick and heavy feel. The handle is also made of beech, making it durable and allowing you to enjoy aging.
