Location: Showcase (SPIRAL 1F, 5-6-23 Minami Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo)

*Due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, event times, etc. may change.
We ask for your understanding and cooperation in checking the information in advance.

This time, we will be announcing the environmentally friendly new product ``Riff'' from our popular umbrella series that beautifies your complexion.
We will be displaying and selling umbrellas that are perfect for business situations, centering on the new product "Riff" that has been treated with UV protection.

``Riff'' was born when recycled yarn began to be used in yarn-dyed fabrics. Nowadays, as people become more aware of environmental issues, the use of recycled yarn is gradually increasing in the textile industry. Makita Shoten has been thinking about making umbrellas using recycled yarn for some time, wondering if there is something we can do that is more environmentally friendly.

``Riff'' is an umbrella that uses the light that enters through the fabric to brighten your skin and create a beautifying effect. Although we are still in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, people are gradually thinking about how to deal with the coronavirus and are starting to have more opportunities to go outside. We have chosen a bright and light color scheme that lifts your mood when you tend to feel depressed.

Makita Shoten is the only long-established textile factory in the world that can produce everything from textile manufacturing to umbrella assembly. Please enjoy the unveiling of umbrellas that can only be made by Makita Shoten in this day and age.
